*The December 7 collection will include bagged garden residue, vegetative material and tree trimmings that are tied/bound (which contain branches that are no larger than 3” in diameter and do not exceed 48” in length).

 All bags must be out prior to 6:00 a.m. on the day of pick up.

All items/leaves must be in biodegradable paper bags for pick up.

         Plastic bags are NOT acceptable ~ please limit each bag to 40 lbs.

Stop by the Township building and check out our new rain barrel!

Rain barrels collect and store rainwater that otherwise is lost to runoff and into the storm drains.  Rainwater collected in this rain barrel will be used water indoor plants and various outdoor landscaping areas here at the Township building during the spring, summer, and fall months, which will reduce Richland's energy costs and consumption.

Drug Take Back Program

The  Northern Regional PD, along with the the Allegheny County District Attorney’s office and the Allegheny County Health Department will participate in a state-wide prescription drug take back initiative.  Effective immediately, residents  will be able to bring  their unused prescriptions to the Northern Regional Police Station located at 230 Pearce Mill  Road, Wexford, Pa  (any time) Monday through Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm .

 *Items not accepted are: Hydrogen Peroxide, Inhalers, Aerosol cans, ointments, needles and thermometers.
