Road Closure

Starting Tuesday, May 17, 2016 a contractor working for Allegheny County will close Dickey Road, in the vicinity of the Richland Swim Club, for bridge repair work.  The project is expected to take four weeks to complete.  The designated detour route will be:  Dickey Road to Meridian to Gibsonia Road (Route 910) to William Flinn Highway (Route 8).  Questions should be directed to the Allegheny County Department of Public Works:  412-350-4005.

Richland Township & Sub-Technical Inc, - Eliminate stormwater from sanitary sewer system.

2016 Road Paving Schedule & Update
- Turner Road is scheduled for paving Monday, May 2nd.
- Fairview Road:  Sub-base failures have resulted in asphalt cracking.  Repairs
are scheduled to take place within the first three weeks of May.

Drug Take Back Program

The  Northern Regional PD, along with the the Allegheny County District Attorney’s office and the Allegheny County Health Department will participate in a state-wide prescription drug take back initiative.  Effective immediately, residents  will be able to bring  their unused prescriptions to the Northern Regional Police Station located at 230 Pearce Mill  Road, Wexford, Pa  (any time) Monday through Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm .

 *Items not accepted are: Hydrogen Peroxide, Inhalers, Aerosol cans, ointments, needles and thermometers.
